HOW TO PLAY

🖥 Desktop

  • WASD move · Mouse look (click to capture) · Shift sprint · Space jump
  • E get into the nearest car, or out of yours · M the phone: jobs
  • In a car: W / S gas and brake · A / D steer · Space handbrake · H horn
  • Left click punch, or shoot once you own a pistol · 1 / 2 fists, pistol · Q switch
  • P / Esc pause · the minimap is bottom-right, the job marker is the yellow beam

📱 Touch

  • Joystick to walk, drag the screen to look. In a car the joystick steers and drives.
  • 🚗 get in or out · 👊 punch or shoot · 📱 jobs · 🅿 handbrake · 📯 horn

🚔 The heat

  • Hit a pedestrian or a car, take a car that is not yours, or fire a gun and you earn a star. Five is the most.
  • At one or two stars cruisers come looking. At three officers shoot and ram. At five the roads are blocked.
  • Lose the police and the stars fade — or pay the paint shop to lose them at once.
  • Get caught on foot and you are busted: you wake at the station short 20% of your cash. Die and you wake at the hospital short 10%.

💵 The jobs

  • Open the phone (M) for the next job: taxi fares, courier runs, races, car theft, demolition and getaways. Each pays cash on delivery.
  • Cash buys a pistol and ammo at Ammu-Block, a faster car and a paint job. Park a car in your garage to keep it.
  • Your score is the cash you have earned. Progress saves on its own.
