🎮 How to Play Block Factory

  • Pick the Miner tool and tap an ore patch — the more of its 2×2 footprint sits on ore, the faster it runs
  • Pick Conveyor and drag from the miner to the Depot; the drag sets the direction of the whole line
  • Anything that reaches a Depot is shipped: it scores, and it becomes the stock you build with
  • Furnaces smelt ore into ingots but burn coal — send ore and coal down the same belt, or feed two
  • Assemblers need a recipe: tap one to choose, then route every ingredient into it
  • When a belt backs up you have found your bottleneck — split the line, widen it or upgrade the belt
  • Twelve milestones unlock splitters, Mk II and Mk III belts, faster miners and the whole recipe tree
  • Desktop: scroll to zoom, right-drag to pan, R rotates, 1-8 pick tools. Touch: one finger builds, two fingers pan and pinch

ℹ️ About Block Factory

Block Factory is a top-down factory builder with no combat, no health bar and nothing chasing you. You drop miners onto ore patches, drag minecart conveyors from them to a Depot, and everything that reaches the Depot is shipped and scored. Then it gets interesting: furnaces turn ore into ingots but burn coal, so every smelting line needs a second feed. Assemblers take up to three ingredients at once, so planks and sticks and redstone have to arrive on the same machine. Belts have a carrying limit, so a line that was fine with two miners jams with four — and you have to decide whether to widen it, split it or upgrade it. Twelve production milestones unlock the splitter, faster belts, the blast furnace and the recipes that climb from sticks to redstone torches, pistons, repeaters, observers and finally a Beacon. Your one visible score is throughput: shipped value per minute, drawn as a live graph in the corner, and your peak is what the leaderboard ranks. Everything saves in your browser as you build.
