Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 31, 2026
This policy explains how Brothers IT Yazılım Arge ve Bilişim Hizmetleri Tic. San. Ltd.şti ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use play-minecraft.games (the "Site").
1. Data Stored in Your Browser
The games can use local storage on your device for high scores, game progress or world saves, settings, and a leaderboard display name. BlockForge can also remember its multiplayer display name. A random token is kept in session storage for the current browser tab so the first-party score service can deduplicate plays and validate score submissions.
This local data stays in your browser unless a feature described below sends a limited value to our service. You can remove it through the game controls where offered or by clearing site data in your browser.
2. First-Party Play Counts and Leaderboards
When a game starts, our same-origin service receives the game identifier and a random session token. It uses the token and network address to limit abuse and count a play at most once within a short period. Raw network addresses and tokens are not written to the application statistics file.
If you choose to submit a score, we store the game identifier, your chosen public display name, score, submission time, and a pseudonymous key used to update your best result and prevent duplicate entries. Each game keeps at most its top 50 rows. Public leaderboard responses show only rank, display name and score.
Aggregate all-time play totals are retained so we can understand which games are used. Per-day totals are kept for up to 60 days. The service may process request headers and network addresses transiently for security and rate limiting; separately configured hosting or security logs may have their own limited retention.
3. Multiplayer Data
When you use BlockForge multiplayer, the service processes your chosen display name, room code, position and actions needed to synchronize the shared game. Chat messages are relayed to participants and are not stored in the statistics file. Shared-world changes can be saved so a room continues across sessions; empty private rooms are scheduled to expire after seven days of inactivity.
Games that connect to the service also keep a progression profile: four skill levels, the current daily and weekly goals, a coin balance, a chosen display name, and a pseudonymous key derived from a random token your browser stores. No account is involved and the profile retires after 90 days without a visit.
One Block lets you publish your island to a public gallery. This is optional and happens only after you give the island a name: from then on the island's name, your display name, the blocks you have placed and the number of blocks the service has counted you breaking are visible to other players, who can load the island and walk through it without being able to change it. You can rename or replace the island at any time from the game. Published islands are removed after 90 days without a visit, or sooner if the gallery reaches its size limit, and can be deleted on request.
4. Advertising and Advertising Consent
Google AdSense is the only third-party advertising provider on the Site. Its script is requested on every page. We no longer operate our own consent banner and we do not store your advertising choice ourselves: consent is collected and recorded by Google's own consent management platform, which decides whether to show you a consent message based on where you are — for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
The choice you make in Google's message determines whether advertising is personalised. If you allow it, Google may use cookies or similar storage to build and use an advertising profile. If you refuse, or you dismiss the message without choosing, Google may still show non-personalised advertising, which is based on limited information such as approximate location and the content of the page rather than on your past activity. Non-personalised advertising can still use cookies or similar storage for purposes such as frequency capping and fraud prevention. In all cases Google acts under its own policies and may process the data outside Turkey.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the privacy control that Google's consent message provides, and by clearing site data in your browser. You can also review Google's Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and Google Ads Settings.
The games remain fully playable regardless of the choice you make.
5. Contact Messages
If you email or call us, we use the contact details and message you provide to answer the request, address a technical or privacy issue, and keep any records required by law. We do not require an account to play the games.
6. Retention and Deletion
- Browser saves, names, settings and scores remain until you clear them or the relevant game removes them. Any advertising choice is stored by Google rather than by us and is cleared with your browser site data.
- Daily aggregate play counts are kept for up to 60 days; all-time totals do not identify individual visitors and may be retained longer.
- A leaderboard row remains while it is in that game's top 50, unless it is removed after a valid request.
- A progression profile and a published One Block island are kept for 90 days after your last visit; an island may also be dropped earlier if the gallery is full.
- Short-lived score proofs and in-memory abuse-prevention records expire automatically.
To request access, correction or deletion of a leaderboard entry, a published island or a contact record, email info@brothers.net.tr. Include the display name, game and approximate submission date — or the island's name — so we can locate the row without asking for unnecessary information.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and does not require an account. Please do not submit a real full name or other personal details as a leaderboard display name. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data, and to withdraw advertising consent. Advertising consent is given and withdrawn through Google’s consent message described in section 4. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
9. Security and International Processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Our own service is operated for the Site; Google may process advertising data in other countries under its published safeguards.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Site changes. The revision date at the top shows when this text was last changed.
